7. Pinterest Integration

Yumila Bryn uses the official Pinterest API through an internal publishing application to connect to and manage our own authorized Pinterest account. The connection is established using Pinterest OAuth, which requires us to sign in to Pinterest and approve the permissions the application requests.

Through this connection we process information made available by Pinterest — including our account identifier, our board information, and information about the Pins we publish — only as necessary to operate the authorized integration, publish content we have selected and approved for publication, and verify that a published Pin matches what was approved.

Authorization credentials, including the application secret, access tokens and refresh tokens, are treated as confidential. They are stored in encrypted form on our own systems and are used only to authenticate and operate the authorized Pinterest connection. They are not intentionally placed in public source code, published packages, screenshots, analytics records, or normal application logs, and our application logs are designed not to contain authentication tokens or Pinterest API response data.

We do not sell Pinterest API information or authorization credentials, and we do not use Pinterest API information for unrelated advertising, profiling or audience-building purposes. We publish only our own content to our own boards, and we do not act on behalf of any other person or business.

Consistent with Pinterest’s developer requirements, we do not intentionally retain Pinterest API information beyond what Pinterest permits and what operating the integration requires.

The connection can be disconnected at any time from our side, and access can be revoked at any time from Pinterest account settings. If authorization is revoked or is no longer required, the operations that depend on it stop until a valid authorization is established again, and the stored credentials are removed.

Pinterest is an independent third-party service. Pinterest processes information according to its own privacy policy, terms, platform rules and developer requirements, which apply to Pinterest’s own processing.
